Kay Ann Douglas

Kay Ann Douglas, age 63, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center.  She was born Monday, September 29, 1952 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania to Samuel Douglas Sr. and Eleanor (nee Brobst) Douglas.

Even though Kay had Cerebral Palsy, she never let that slow her down.  With her contagious smile and outgoing personality, Kay never met a stranger.  Not only was she a social butterfly, she was also an animal lover.  Many of her friends and neighbors relied on Kay to walk their furry companions or to take care of their dogs when they would go out of town.  Kay was also very talented with sewing and crafts.  Her family and friends have many of her stitching artwork that she diligently worked on until recently when the Rheumatoid Arthritis got too bad.

Kay was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Douglas Sr.

She is survived by: her mother, Eleanor Douglas; brothers, Samuel Douglas, Jr. and Bill (Patty) Douglas; nephews and niece, Tyler, Bill, Brian and Bridget Douglas; and other loving family members and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, April 29 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Kay's memory be directed to SPCA Cincinnati, 3949 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223.
