Peter Joseph Christiano

Peter Joseph Christiano , 83, beloved husband of Rosemary Christiano (nee Graziadei) for over 59 years, devoted father of Michelle (Karl) Matson, Peter (Carolyn) Christiano, Philip Christiano and Michael (Teri) Christiano, loving grandfather of Laura (Michael) Batta, Paul (Molly) Matson, Kara Matson, Nicole Christiano, Allison Christiano, Jessica Christiano, Peter Christiano, Marc Christiano, Giavanna Christiano and Olivia Christiano and great-grandfather of Liliana Batta and Nolan Christiano Matson, dear brother of John and Joseph Christiano. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

Born on June 29,1932 Peter Joseph Christiano spent his formative years in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  From there he attended Boston College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Accounting in 1953.  While serving his country for three years soon after the Korean War, he earned the National Defense Service Medal.  After completing his service,  in 1956 ,he married the Love of his Life , Rosemary Graziadei .  While being employed for close to forty years as a General Manager of Finance in the Audio Electronics division of General Electric he played  an integral role in raising  four children.

Upon retirement in 1993, Peter and Rosemary experienced many beautiful days in both New Smyrna Beach and The Villages, Florida, cultivating many lifetime friends.   In addition to enjoying great times with friends, he loved to read many a book while never missing many sporting events, especially involving his beloved Syracuse Orange !

Above all else, he was devoted to his family and his faith.
