Ronald Earl Bates, Jr.

Ronald E. 'Ron' Bates, Jr., 47, devoted husband of 24 years to Tammy Bates (nee Peters), loving father of R. Blake Bates, Taylor Sue Bates, and Ronnie Bates, beloved son of Ronald E. Bates, Sr. and Linda Bates, brother of Traci (Ray) Bull, son-in-law of Bob and Sue Organ, brother-in-law of Stacy (Nikki) Peters, Chris (Heather) Peters, uncle of many nieces and nephews, and best friend of Chris (Jennifer) Enright, passed away suddenly Friday, March 18, 2016.

Ron loved to be outdoors, and he was an avid fisherman.  He also enjoyed traveling, but his favorite place to visit was Panama City Beach. Other favorite past times included working out, eating steaks and candy, and watching  movies.  His favorite movie was "Message in a Bottle."  Ron also loved to watch football, and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, 505 W. Mason Rd., South Lebanon, OH 45069 on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 PM.
