Timothy Finn, 64
, was born on February 3, 1952 and passed away on March 20, 2016. He was raised in northern Kentucky and excelled in many sports, especially football. He took his love for the sport to the next level by pursuing a long and successful teaching and coaching career for 35 years. He taught and coached at Newport Catholic, CAPE, and most recently, Hamilton Badin. He had a profound impact on many students due to his strong commitment to make a difference in their lives. The love he transcended was evident by the many visitors he received during his stay at Drake Vitas Hospital.
He was a proud 1970 graduate of Covington Catholic High School and a 1976 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he received a BS degree in Biology and an MS degree in education.
He is predeceased by his wife Becky Finn and parents James and Dorothy Finn. He is survived by his twin brother Jim (Jonna) and sister Sandra of Villa Hills, Ky, step-sons Christian and Brook Kagel, and Nick Mendler as well as numerous nieces and nephews and three step grandchildren.
The family would like to thank staff at UC Drake Hospital/Vitas and the numerous friends and former students that visited him, especially those from Covington Catholic, Hamilton Badin, Newport Catholic, and the former CAPE High School.
Visitation will be at St. Margaret of York Church, 9499 Columbia Rd, Loveland, OH 45140 on Wednesday, March 23 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
