Richard E. 'Dick' Bolte , age 95, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Chesterwood Village. Richard was born Saturday, July 3, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio to William and Lillian (nee Sullivan) Bolte. He served in the US Army during World War II receiving the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Richard and his wife, Ethel are the founders of Agean Marble.
Richard was preceded in death by: his parents, William and Lillian Bolte; brothers, William Bolte and Jack Bolte; and sisters, Betty Mohring and Claire Obert.
Richard is survived by: his loving wife, Ethel (nee Finke) Bolte; sons, Gary R. (Lois) Bolte and Rick W. (Teresa) Bolte; daughter, Patricia (Barry) Farmer; grandchildren, Chris (Kate), Amy (Kyle), Tony (Jo), Adrienne, Mackenzie, Kerbe (David), Kevin, Molly (Mike), Jason, Rick and Emily; great-grandchildren, Alli, Macie, Audrey, Autumn, Stone, Landon, Finnley, Jackson, Josie and Grace; and many other loving family members and friends.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Prayer Service will follow at 4:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
