John A. Kravec, Jr.

John A. Kravec Jr., 62, departed this life on February 16, 2016 after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at Mueller Funeral Home in Mason, Ohio on March 2, 2016, at 7:00PM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Kravec Sr. and Nadine Janata Kravec. He is survived by his wife Debbie Kravec, son John Paul Kravec, daughter Janelle Kravec, and brother Hank Kravec wife Julie, nieces Emily and Rebecca and many more loving family members.

John excelled in athletics while attending Archbishop Moeller High School and was awarded a football scholarship to Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. There, he lettered three years in football, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management in 1976, enabling him to launch a long career in manufacturing. After spending his earlycareer employed by Firestone Tire in Cincinnati and GE Aircraft Engines in Cincinnati and Wilmington, North Carolina, he also worked forMagna Seating Systems, Delphi Corporation, and Carrier Corporation. As an expert in Lean Manufacturing principles, John led others to achieve greater efficiencies in manufacturing.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, in John’s memory.
