Thomas H. Plummer III
, 93, beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Allman) Plummer, loving father of Thomas H. (Brooke) Plummer IV and Debra (Jerry) Moore, dear sister of Janet Mooney, devoted grandfather of Hillary Plummer, Zachary (Andrea) Moore, Nathaniel (Rebecca) Moore and Aaron (Brittany) Moore, great-grandfather of Isaiah Moore, Eli Moore, Ella Moore, Patryk Moore and Harper Moore, dear friend of Dorothy Hawks, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2016.
Tom was a proud World War II veteran, and he was instrumental in starting the Veterans' Organization at Mason Christian Village, where he lived for twenty-one years. He raised his family in Reading, and while still living there, he helped start the Reading Historical Society. He was a huge Buckeye Football fan and had season tickets for many years. He served on advisory committees for Mason City Schools and the City of Mason. Plummer Place, a street in the Alverta Subdivision in Mason, was named in his honor.
Visitation will be held at Mason Christian Village, 411 Village Drive, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Saturday, March 5th from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM.
