Rosemarie Steele

STEELE, ROSEMARIE (NEE Cardarelli) - Beloved wife for 49 years and best friend of Michael Steele. Cherished mother of Christine (Alan) Schehr and Kathleen (Michael Scheaufele) Steele. Grandmother of Michael Alan Schehr. Sister of John (Patricia) Cardarelli and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Surrounded by family when she was called home by the Lord on January 8, 2016 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Rosemarie enjoyed cooking especially Italian dishes such as stuffed steak, meatballs and homemade sauces that were absolutely amazing.  Along with her husband, she enjoyed cruising with friends to some of her favorite locations being Alaska, Hawaii and Panama Canal.  She was hoping to get back to Alaska soon.  She took great pride in her gardening and raised knock-out rose bushes.  Rosemarie's family will remember her attempts at playing golf with a big smile and a little laugh.  She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040 from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Thurday, January 14, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM followed with internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, OH. Send condolences to MuellerfuneralS.com 513-398-9100
