Orlando Leguizamon Rivera

March 28, 1959 — January 2, 2016

Orlando Leguizamon Rivera, age 56, of Mason, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 2, 2016.  He was born March 28, 1959 in Cali, Colombia to Jose Nazario Leguizamon and Isaura Rivera.  Orlando was a Machine Operator in the Automotive Industry.

Orlando was the type of family man who enjoyed playing games with the kids. He was a kid at heart himself. He was quite the jokester although sometimes his jokes were only funny to him.  He was a very romantic and sensitive man who loved to bring flowers home to the love of his life. He took pride in working in the yard.  Orlando also loved music and salsa dancing.  He was a great dancer. When he wasn't busy cooking Latin meals for the family he adored, he could be found watching soccer, football, wrestling or baseball. Orlando had a great and pure heart, and brought joy to everyone he knew with his smile and happy attitude.

Orlando and Anna were high school sweethearts and dated for five years until Anna left to go to college in the United States. He was drafted for the Colombian Army and they lost contact. Orlando never got married or had children hoping to one day reunite with Anna. After twenty-six years, they ran into each other again in Colombia. In the end, his dreams of marrying Anna came true and they were happily together for almost eight years.

Orlando is survived by: his loving wife that he cherished, Anna Milena Herrera; children, Ronnie Glover, Christopher (and wife, Amanda) Glover and Amanda Glover; siblings, Teresa Moreno, Victor Emilio (and wife, Belcy) Moreno, Cecilia Leguizamon, Jose Luis (and wife, Nancy) Leguizamon; mother-in-law, Amanda (and husband, Jaiber) Sanchez; sisters-in-law, Adriana (and husband, Jeff) Smudski and Elizabeth (and husband, Jon) Coleman; brothers-in-law, Gonzalo (and wife, Deborah) Herrera and Luis (and wife, Catherine) Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Alexandra Marin (and husband, Juan Pablo Ochoa), Roberto Marin, Jennifer Leguizamon, Jose Luis Leguizamon, Jr., Danni Leguizamon, Victory Andres Moreno, Diego Moreno; many special family members including his aunt and uncle, Lucy and Cesar Chapeta.
