Mildred (Mim) Joan Van Cott, née Harber, died peacefully with family by her side on November 1, 2015 in West Chester, OH. Mim was born and grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and lived her adult life in Staten Island, NY and later Warwick, NY. She relocated to OH in 1999. Mim was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel and George Harber, husband Stanley and her son Peter. She is survived by her sister Doris Morehouse, daughters Emily Javaheri (Hassan), Sharon Van Cott-Young (Randy), grandchildren John Javaheri (Kristin), David Javaheri (Megan), Jennifer Cummings, Ryan Young (Jamie Laurie) and Kris Ebeling (Tim). Mim is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; Victoria and John Philip (John & Kristen), Lilly, Liam and Emma (David & Megan), Violet (Kris & Tim), and Finley (Ryan & Jamie). Mim's request was for no memorial service. She will be interred alongside Stanley and Peter in Warwick, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warwick, NY Humane Society, P.O.
