Grace App Schloegel Thompson (1921-2015) Grace App Schloegel Thompson passed away on October 27, 2015 after a long life filled with love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 22 years, Edwin Schloegel and her second husband of 12 years, Edward Thompson. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1921, Grace experienced many of the most significant events of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. She loved her needlework and her music and felt joy in being part of the lives of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three children; Ed Schlegel (Kathy), Carl Schloegel, and Grace Lynn Schloegel Jones (Steve). She will be remembered with love by her brother George App, her seven grandchildren; Amy Leed (Rob), Eric Schloegel (Jackie), Kristin Amato (Rick), Liz Clemens (Jeff), Brian Schlegel (Anna), Michael Jones (Beth), Greg Jones (Jaclyn), her 13 great-grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A service to remember Grace will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Mason Christian Village, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Christian Benevolent Association at Mason Christian Village or to Crossroads Hospice in Cincinnati; 4380 Glendale-Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH.
