Kathleen Dell Elmer (née Shirley), age 53, formerly of Questa, NM, and El Centro, CA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 8, 2015, in Mason, OH. She was born July 30, 1962, in Hereford, TX to Vernon Dale Shirley and the late Patricia Jean Shirley (née Walton). She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia, and her stepmother, Barbara Anne Shirley (née Dorsey), whom she spent many years caring for. Kathy is survived by her son, Andres Quesada; grandson, Kaynon Antonio Quesada; father, Vernon Shirley, and siblings: Janet (John) Nodar; Sam Shirley; Judy Pieken; Peter (Janet) Shirley and Eric Shirley; and many loving step-siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.
