Florence E. Tyler (nee Streelman), age 88, of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, went to be with the her Lord on September 30, 2015. Born in Midland Park, Florence has resided in Ho-Ho-Kus for fifty-six years. She was first a homemaker lovingly raising her children and then worked for The Bergen Day Training Center in Paramus before retiring. She was a faithful member of Grace Church in Ridgewood for many years. Her love was her family and Grace Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Linwood Tyler in 1989, and by her loving sons James Tyler and Linwood Tyler. She was also predeceased by her adoring brother Albert Streelman and two adoring sisters, Dorothy Hoffman and Jean Bakelaar. Survivors include her two sons Gary Tyler and wife Carol of Ho-Ho-Kus, Douglas Tyler and wife Joanne of Brick and four daughters, Linda Goodwin and husband Scott of Mahwah, Sandra Schroeder and husband Ron of Belvidere, NJ , Barbara Brummett of McKinney, TX and Sharon Smith and husband Richard of Eva, AL. A cherished daughter in law, Debi Tyler of Mason, OH also survives. There are 19 dear grandchildren and 4 dear great grandchildren surviving. Funeral services Monday 10:00 am at Grace Church (Cor. Meadowbrook & Libby Aves) Ridgewood, NJ Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
