Delores "Dee" Williams (nee Zanetti), age 67, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She was born Sunday, April 25, 1948 in Somerville, New Jersey to Alexander and Doris (nee Baker) Zanetti. Dee was a proud graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey where she received her Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology. She later earned her Masters in Reading Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Dee taught students in 5th grade at St. Susanna for many years, until the early 2000s. You could always depend on Dee to be reading the latest mystery novel or poetry anthology. Kiawah Island, located in South Carolina, was her favorite beach vacation destination. While she was an avid Reds fan, loved her dog Tucker, Dee's true passion was her family, finding extreme pride in her grandchildren and their antics! Dee was preceded in death by: her parents, Alexander and Doris Zanetti; and her brother, Alexander Zanetti. She is survived by: her loving husband, Christopher "Chris" Williams; daughters, Kristen Statt, Lauren (husband, Ryan) Shadwick and Colleen Williams; grandchildren, Jc Statt, Emma Statt and Chloe Shadwick; brother, Joseph (wife, Judith) Zanetti; uncle, Hank Fatton; nieces, Kimberly (husband, Clay) Purcell and Carla (husband, Erik) Howard; nephew, Joseph (wife, Lorena) Zanetti; and many other loving family members, friends and co-workers. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
