Denzel, Earl S., formerly of Portage, Michigan passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Chesterwood Village, West Chester, Ohio. He was born May 29, 1930 in Cadillac, MI to Carl and Esther (Johnson) Denzel. Earl served his country in the U.S. Army. For 30 years he was employed at The Upjohn Company. He enjoyed woodworking and sports being a fan of the Detroit Tigers. On October 29, 1955 he married the love of his life, Barbara (Jacobson) Denzel. He was preceded in death by his parents. Earl is survived by: his beloved wife of 59 years, Barbara; sons, Michael (Dawn) Denzel of Glenview, IL and Jeff (Maureen) Denzel of Mason, OH; sister, Evelyn (Charles) Overacker of Paw Paw, MI; brother, William (Joanna) Denzel of Paw Paw, MI; grandchildren, Kristopher Denzel, Kevin Denzel, Stephanie Denzel, Nicole (Alex) Livingston and Brad Denzel, along with four legged dog Lexi.
