John E. Albrinck 2/13/1935 - 6/19/2015 John E. Albrinck, 80, of Mason, Ohio passed away on June 19, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Reading, Ohio to Othmar and Clara Albrinck. He graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1953 and Xavier University in 1957, where he was a member of the basketball team. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959 and later received his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. In 1960 he married Mary Ann Hofmann and they were married for 54 wonderful years. John is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann, his sons John Jeffrey (Natalie), Joseph, Jim (Camille) and his daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Apke. Dear grandfather of Emily, Kelsey, Ashley, Cassidy, Nathan, Joseph, Alex, Zachary and Jacob. Dear brother of Helen (the late Daniel) Naber, Virginia (the late Richard) Trame, Ray (Judy) and Mike (Diane) and many nieces and nephews. He was a humble and honorable man who dearly loved his faith and family. Whether playing, coaching or cheering, John also enjoyed all things sports, especially his Xavier Musketeers, the Reds and the Bengals. John was also an avid golfer and enjoyed history and travel. A memorial Gathering will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249.
