Kenneth R. Lappin, age 75, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015. He was born on a Tuesday, May 23, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to Clarence and Freda (nee Wendel) Lappin. Kenneth was a Sales Engineer in the Fluid Power business. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was also a pilot, flying twin engine planes. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth in survived by: his wife, Joyce J. (nee Checton) Lappin; children, Marc Lappin and Cheryl (husband, Tim) Hastings; grandchildren, Montana and Shaye Hastings; sister-in-law, Joan (husband, Jerry) Balzer; brother-in-law, Gary Checton; nephew, Joel (wife, Brenda) Balzer; niece, Julie Balzer; and many friends. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM at Christ's Church at Mason. A Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the church with Rev. Tom Moll officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Amercian Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
