William J. Hartman, age 66, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Bill was born on Sunday, February 6, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to Ercil and Ruth (nee Oberholtzer) Hartman. During the USS Pueblo Incident, his Air National Guard unit was activated to serve our country in Korea. When Bill was not working as a General Contractor, he enjoyed watching football and loved taking care of his dog and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by: his son, Thomas John Hartman; siblings, Douglas (wife, Roberta) Hartman, Thomas (wife, Karen) Hartman, and Patricia Hartman; nieces and nephews, Seth Hartman, Shawni (Jamie) Murphy, Shane (Charolotte) Hartman, Luke (Lauren) Hartman, Paul (Sara) Hartman, Jessica Dunn, Edward McCulloch, Michael McCulloch and Stephen McCulloch; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bill's life will follow the visitation at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A memorial contribution may be made in Bill's honor to the charity of your choice.
