Wilma F. Young (nee Eversole), 77, went home on Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was born on October 2, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky to Bige and Easter (nee Robins) Eversole. Wilma was a jeweler for the well known B. David Company for over 30 years. Faith and Family were always her number one priority. When her grand daughter asked her, "Mamau what did you want to be when you grew up?", she quickly replied, "Honey, I just wanted to be married and have babies and grand babies". Wilma loved cooking big dinners for her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved spending time in her daughter's cabin in the Smokey Mountains where she would always visit Cades Cove, which she stated was her favorite place outside of Heaven. Wilma loved watching all of the animals there and the beautiful mountains in the back drop. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Doyle Young; and her daughter, Pam Short. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (husband, Bill) Cummins; grandchildren, Derek Short, Brandon (Krystin) Short and Andrea (Nathan) Disbro, great-grandchildren, Brantley Short, Henry Disbro and another one on the way, and siblings, Larry Eversole, Shirley McKinney, Harold Eversole, Gary Eversole and Connie Eversole.
