Jeanne M. Mueller Rekers, 88, caring wife of the late Louis J. Rekers, beloved daughter of the late Herbert H. and Genevieve A. Mueller (nee Laverty), dear sister of the late Rita C. (Joseph) Murray and John R. (Clara) Mueller, loving aunt of Kathleen (Michael) Ball, Maureen (Michael) Cunningham, Patrick (Lily) Murray, James (Ginny) Mueller, Sandra Smith, Fr. Jerry Mueller, Jennifer Mueller (Michael Faragalli), Diane Markisen, Ralph (Ruth) Mueller, Christine (Kenneth) Kelleher, Herbert (Ann) Mueller, Dan 'Beatle' Mueller, Tom Mueller, Steven (Sandra) Mueller, Paul (Connie) Mueller and John 'Jack' (Ellen) Mueller and the late John R. Mueller, Jr. and many great and great-great nieces and nephews, step-mother of Gail Rekers (Michal Anne Pepper),Sandra (Steve) Egli, Barbara (Jay) Magella, Mark Rekers, John Rekers, Mary Rekers (Chuck Reidmiller), Paul (Sarah) Rekers, Kathy Rekers and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Jeanne was a graduate of Mount Notre Dame HS, Edgecliff College and later received her Master's Degree from Xavier University. She was proud to be a part of MND in teaching history and government for over 30 years. She cherished her friendships with all her colleagues and students over her years at MND. She truly valued the opportunity to help inspire and mold the lives of thousands of young women. Jeanne was a member of the Wyoming Women's Club for many years. She enjoyed traveling, golf and family. Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Tuesday, February 3 from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday, February 4 at St. James of the Valley, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, OH 45215 from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
