Robert G. Ewing, 84, of West Chester, passed away December 22, 2014. Bob was born August 18, 1931 in Canton, OH to Roy and Leah Marie Ewing. After receiving his BS degree from Ohio University, he served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. Bob enjoyed a long career in the rock drilling business and owned Drill Air Service with his wife, Elizabeth. He was a member of the American Union Lodge No. 1 F & AM, and the American Legion Post 681. Bob was a Police Ambassador for the West Chester Police Dept. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (nee Olinger) Ewing; daughter, Merry E Ewing; granddog, Coco; and many friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held January 17th at 4:30 PM at the Savannah Center in West Chester.
