Dorothy M. (nee Taylor) Monroe, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesdy, December 10, 2014. Dorothy was born Sunday, April 22, 1928 in Ovid, Michigan to Paul and Ruth (nee Darling) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert D. Monroe; and her sister, Shirley Bramer. Dorothy is survived by her devoted children, Becky (Dwight) Webster, Robert (Mary) Monroe, Larry (Kathleen) Monroe and Debbie (Paul) St. Louis; loving grandchildren, Angela Hatcher, Lori Webster, Andrea Hasse, Cheryl Bridgins, Kelly Hershey, Kimberly Cox, Robert St. Louis and Michael St. Louis; 8 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald, Harold, Gerald and Duane Taylor; and many other loving family members and friends. Dorothy ministered to many people in her life, touching many souls. Her family will fondly remember her love of Southern Gospel Music. Through her life, Dorothy enjoyed scrapbooking, reading and needle crafts. Visitation will be Friday, 12/12, from 9:30 AM until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM at Mason Christian Village Chapel, 411 Western Row, Mason, OH 45040.
