Evelyn Weisenberger Dunn, age 85, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in West Chester, OH. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfonso and Anna Weisenberger, and her husband, William J. Dunn. Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Diane Farris and Marcia Dunn, both of West Chester, OH and one son, Michael Dunn of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Bethany (J.T.) Thompson, David (Amanda) Farris, Cheyenne Dunn and John Michael Dunn. Survivors also include her sister, Marilyn Sturdevant and several nieces, cousins and other relatives. Evelyn was born and raised in Canandaigua, NY and spent the majority of her life there. She taught Latin and Spanish for 35 years at both Victor Central School and Marcus Whitman Central School until she retired in 1986. After retiring, she moved to West Chester, OH to be close to her family. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with family, genealogy, playing cards/Scrabble, reading and watching the Cincinnati Reds baseball games. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 6 from 12:30-1:30 PM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Liberty Township, OH immediately followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1:30 PM.
