Mary Ellen Hinkle, 83 years old, of Liberty Township, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2014, following a sudden illness. She is survived by her Husband, Dorse Hinkle; Her daughters, Teresa and Darryl Doar of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Delesa and Michael Morris of West Palm Beach, FL; five grandsons, Jared M. Morris, Robert C. Winkler, Jacob D. Morris, Matthew D. Morris and Dylan R. Doar, Sisters, Barbara (Dave) Manning and Janie (Tom) Mullins of Mt. Vernon, MO, Brother- in- laws, Dorel Hinkle, Conda Hinkle and Don (Ella Jean) Hinkle, Sister- in- Law, Inez Edwards and several loving nieces and nephews. Mary E. Hinkle Born in Lexington, KY served as a community volunteer for many years with many organizations and received the State Honorary Life Membership Award from the Ohio Congress of Parents and Teachers Inc. She was an officer in her church and with the Miami Baptist Association. She was a successful franchise owner of Auto-Driveway for 25 years and received several awards for her management of the franchise. Mary loved to sew, play the piano and the Ya-Ya group at YMCA. She was a conversationalist that never met a stranger and her smile was contagious. Visitation will be at Tri-County Baptist Church, 8195 Beckett Road, West Chester, Ohio on Friday, October 31 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian McManus officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be offered in Mary Hinkle's memory to either to Tri-County Baptist Church or the Dorse and Mary Hinkle Scholarship Fund at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
