Clifford Edgerton Henry, 64, beloved husband of Pamela (nee Irvin) for 27 years, devoted father of Yewande Henry, Kanya (Harvey) Glymph and Helana Neal, loving grandfather of Ayahnah, Anissa and Freeman Glymph and Aarilyn Neal, dear brother of his late twin sister Sandra Henry, is survived by a host of other relatives. Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 25, 2014. His parents, the late Clifford C. Henry and the late Evelyn Lucille Henry(nee Taylor)moved the family from New York to Jamaica in 1957, where Clifford spent the rest of his childhood and early adulthood. He attended the University of the West Indies and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany with Special Honors in 1973, then worked for the Forest Department, Ministry of Agriculture out of Kingston. Clifford later attended the University of Florida at Gainesville and received a Masters of Forest Resource & Conservation degree in 1977. On July 30, 1979, Clifford started his career with the Procter and Gamble Company where he worked for 35 years. Associate Research Manager in the C&S Division at Foley in Florida was his first role and Associate Director Corporate Social Responsibility was his most recent. He thoroughly enjoyed each of these assignments and every one in between. He possessed a zest for life, one filled with courage, impeccable integrity, compassion and the gift of service. The light he has shared with his family, friends, colleagues and strangers will continue to shine through us all, just in having known him.
