A graveside service will be held at a later date in Highland, Illinois. She was born October 15, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of W.J. and Dollora (nee Genre) Bosché. Joanne was a dear sister to Nancy (David Stewart) Bosché of Mission, Kansas, Carol (James Wasmuth) Bosché of Indian River, Michigan, Greg (Barb Hoffman) Bosché of Warner, New Hampshire, Barbara (Erik Van Vleck) Bosché of Lawrence, Kansas, and Marie (Randy Sharer) Bosché of Normal, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Suzanne (Tim Hill) Southard of Kansas City, Missouri, Wendy Southard of Baldwin City, Kansas, Grady (Emily Serafin) Southard of Brooklyn, New York, Ben Wasmuth of Chicago, Illinois, Haley and Alex Van Vleck of Lawrence, Kansas, and Molly Sharer of Decatur, Illinois. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, a great-nephew, and two cats, Sasha and Maya. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, and nephew Andy Southard. Joanne graduated from Highland High School, Highland, Illinois, in 1972 and Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, in 1976. After passing the CPA exam, she worked from 1976 to 1978 for Ginoli & Co. Public Accountants, Peoria, Illinois. In 1978, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and was general accountant for Harris Corporation until 1981, when she became Controller for Cinox/EG&G. In 1986, she became Vice President of Finance for Cincinnati Fan, Mason, Ohio, where she was employed until her death. She was on the Board of Directors of Warren County United Way, serving as Board President from 2003-2005. Joanne was the keeper of family archives, photos, art work, and collections. She came from a musical family and played piano, flute, and percussion and also enjoyed singing. She loved music of all types, nature, miniatures, fine art, and beautiful things, including jewelry and textiles. She was a creative individual, making miniatures, jewelry, polymer clay artworks, and Asian-inspired paper works of art. Joanne had a soft spot in her heart for the late Chloe Mae Robinson, an extended family member who, along with her parents, spent much time at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. "Josie" - as she was known to Chloe - had a level of compassion and generosity for Chloe that will not be forgotten. Cincinnati Fan, the business and its employees, benefitted greatly from Joanne's knowledge, dedication, and human kindness. Her logical, calm approach to challenges helped others make their way through difficult situations. We miss you, Jo.
