John Kelly Fields, 53, of Hamilton, passed away August 23, 2014 at his residence. John was born on October 19, 1960 in Hamilton, OH to Chester and Ora Fields. John, was also known as "Little Road Block", a fun and loving, father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, nephew and uncle. He was a friend to many and never met a stranger. He loved to play tricks and jokes on family and friends. John knew how to put a smile on your face. He also had a serious side, if you needed to talk with someone he was always there to listen. He would help anyone in any way he could. His loyalty was unmeasurable. He had an undying love for his dearly departed dog "Patches". He enjoy spending time with family and friends, driving fast cars, listening to loud blues/country gospel music and fishing. Our memories and stories of John are endless and precious. Each and every one of us will forever carry on John's memory. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marslynn L. Fields; children, Michael (Joan) Fields, Spanky Fields, Nick Fields, Jodi (Jonathan) Quick and Josh Cooper; grandchildren, Darion, Dylan, Kylie, Amber and Makayla Fields; siblings, Roscoe (Joyce) Fields, Russell (Linda) Fields, Imogene (Arlo) Barger, Sharon Fields and Tracy Fields; uncles Fuzzy (Jeannie) Couch and Walter (Norma) Fields; sister-in-law Stephanie (Doug) Highfill and brother-in-law John Settles; and many other family members and friends. A special thank you to David Hatfield for your loving care in John's time of need. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Stanley, Clinton, Casey and Jackie Fields. Visitation and Funeral Service are Friday August 29, 2014 from 10am-1pm, at Celebration of Praise Church of God located at 433 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Rev. Dora Mae Napier will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
