HAGER, John W., 77, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. John was born May 7, 1937 in Wolfe County, KY to Robert and Dora Hager. He was a construction laborer and retired from Labors Local 534. John was a member of Heavenly Highway Tabernacle. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and growing roses, but he was mostly a family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of almost 55 years, Norma Jean Hager in 2012; granddaughter, Sondra Hager; grandson, Jesse Hager; and 2 sisters. John is survived by his children, Dale (Cookie) Hager, Kim Hager, Ray (Tammy) Hager, Randy (Lisa) Hager and Kevin (Stephanie) Hager; grandchildren, Steve Hager, Russell & Rachael Blevins, Traci & Aaron Hager, Amy & Erica Hager and Abby & Brianna Wooton and Cambrie Hager; 7 great-grandchildren; and many loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 21 from 11 AM until the Funeral Service at 1 PM with Rev. Billy Wilson officiating at Heavenly Highway Tabernacle. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery.
