US NAVY VETERAN KOREAN CONFLICT Robert Lee Mitchell, 84, beloved husband of Alma (nee Teater) Mitchell, devoted father of Mark (Peggy) Mitchell and Lisa (Jim Reynolds) Mitchell, dear brother of Dorothy Grace, Ollie (Tom) Hodle and the late Mark Mitchell, Homer Mitchell, William Mitchell, Oscar Mitchell and Mona Gaines, loving grandfather of Dennis (Melanie) Kettler, Edward (Margaret) Kettler, Heather (Steven) Sisco, Malinda Crummitt, Joshua Crummitt and Kayla Crummitt, great-grandfather of Hannah Sisco, Sarah Sisco, Steven Sisco, Abigail Kettler, Samantha Kettler, Sophia Kettler, Lily Kettler and Charlotte Kettler. Passed away peacefully June 23, 2014 surrounded by his family. Robert was a proud American serving our country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy. He was a cofounder of Monroe Christian Church and Christ Church of Mason where he served as an Elder at both. Robert also owned and operated Adventures in Learning School where he worked up until two weeks ago. A strong fan of Cincinnati sports, he followed the BearCats Basketball, Reds Baseball and Bengals Football teams. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
