Dewey Franklin Shumate, 82, of Mason, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on June 20, 2014. Dewey is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Johnson) 55 years, son John (Tammy) Shumate, daughter Bethany (nee Shumate) (Jeff) Wiles. Loving grandpa of Jessica and Amanda Shumate, Jacob and Emma Wiles. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00 AM on July 3, 2014 at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.
