Ryan Michael Nalley

February 25, 1984 — April 29, 2014

On February 25, 1984, Ryan Michael Nalley was born to first-time parents, Mike and Patti in Daytona Beach, Florida. He came in to the world already half grown at 9lbs, 15oz. After several years in Florida, the Nalleys moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Soon came his younger brothers, Matthew and Patrick. Ryan loved the babies. He loved to hold them and feed them and play with them. They, as boys do, got in some trouble every now and again. Some say the three of those boys were put here to teach their mother patience!! All three boys attended St. Raphael Catholic School while living in Louisville. Ryan lived his life with no regrets. He always pushed the limits. Ryan was an adventurous soul. He was a Ghost Buster, Power Ranger and Ninja Turtle, sometimes all at once. After Ryan completed grade school, the Nalleys moved to Mason, Ohio. He graduated from Mason High School in 2002. After graduating high school, Ryan attended Raymond Walters College to pursue his passion for cars. He also loved to read and learn, especially about nature, chemistry and philosophy. Ryan lived for the moment. His spirit and zest were focused on today. Ryan held various jobs throughout his life, most recently as a cook at City Barbecue. Ryan loved nature and being outside and one of his favorite pastimes was to fly kites. When Ryan met Paige, who was to become the mother of his beloved daughter, Cori, was asked if he and Paige were dating, he'd reply, in true Ryan fashion, "We're just flying kites". On June 25, 2008, Ryan's beloved Cori Isabelle Nalley was born. From the moment he laid eyes on the tiny Cori Isabelle, everyone knew how much he loved her. Cori was his "Little Lady". Though they had only five years together, Cori was Ryan's best friend. They loved spending time together, taking in nature, walking through the woods, roller skating, swinging on the swing sets and being together. One of Ryan's final achievements was to teach Cori how to ride a bicycle without training wheels. Both Ryan and Cori were so proud of this accomplishment. Though Ryan's life ended far too soon, he accomplished much in his time here. In accordance with his wishes to be an organ donor, Ryan's gift will positively affect seventy or more people in need of tissue and organ donation. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. "The past is a ghost. The future is a dream. All we have is now." Watch over us all until we see you again.
