US ARMY VETERAN KOREAN WAR Lewis Adron Kerr, 88, died peacefully March 6, 2014 in West Chester, Ohio and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McNutt Kerr. Born in Beaver Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania to Lewis Adron Kerr and Katherine Hoffman Kerr. Lewis entered the Army of the United States in 1946 and had assignment in Korea and The Pacific Theatre. Lewis lived most of his life in Petersburg, Ohio and New Middletown, Ohio. He retired as a millwright from the Bessemer Cement Plant in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. Lewis was a member and past president of Saint John's Lutheran Church in Petersburg. Lewis was extremely loving and proud of his three daughters, Patti Kerr Henninger, West Chester, Ohio with whom he resided, Sister Sally Kerr Ph.D, Pottstown Pennsylvania, and Judith Kerr Bisard, of Garrettsville, Ohio. He leaves five step-sons, Howard Parks, Robert Parks, George Parks, William Parks, and Frank Parks. Also a surviving sister, Mildred Moore and brother, Charles Kerr of Pennsylvania. Memorial Services will be held at Saint John's Lutheran Church, 14394 Youngstown Pittsburgh Rd, Petersburg, OH 44454 on Thursday, May 29 at 10:30 AM. Burial at Petersburg Cemetery Association in Petersburg, Ohio and will be at a future date.
