Linda M. McCreary Jones (nee Mather), 69, beloved wife of Roy, devoted mother of Sharon (James) Potts, Peter (Judy) McCreary, Scott (Janine) McCreary and the late Paul Royal McCreary, step-mother of Edgar (Tana), Erick (Alisha), Jon (Kathy) and Jim (Deb) Jones, dear sister of Nancy LaPine, Gail Tirpak and the late Bruce Mather, sister-in-law of James (LaVern) Jones and the late Marje (Bill) Chappel, loving grandmother of Ryan, Alexa, Cami, Joshua McCreary and Taylor and Jeremy Potts and step-grandmother of 15 and step-great grandmother of 4. Passed away March 28, 2011. After starting a family, Linda became a homemaker and avid golfer who also enjoyed bridge, racquetball and bowling. She was a long-time member of Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, serving as Deacon and Choir Member. Memorial Service at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45440 on April 16 at 1:00 PM friends and family will gather at 12:30. There will be a celebration immediately following the service at the Italian Club; 2625 County Line Rd in Kettering. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
