WW II VETERAN US ARMY James P. Owens, 89, beloved husband of Erma Maddix Owens, devoted step-father of Teddi Gillespie and the late J.C. (Lisa) Maddix, dear brother of Donald (Sheryl) Kipp, loving step-grandfather of Dennis, Joe and James Maddix, Janina Henson, Jeff and Steve Russo and survived by several great and great-great grandchildren, uncle of Donny (Tina) Kipp. Passed away peacefully Thursday, September 5, 2013.
