Betty Lou. Egelston, 86, was born in Middletown on July 15, 1922. She died Friday, November 14, 2008 in West Chester, OH. Mrs. Egelston resided for over 28 years in Bradenton, FL. Prior to that she worked as a phone operator for Ohio Bell and McAlpin's. Among her many passions in life were shopping, decorating, garage sales, traveling and eating out. She also enjoyed being a member of the Elks, American Legion Aux. and being part of her condo assocation board. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur V. Egelston who died in 1986, and her sisters Jewell Hall and Wilma Ratliff. She is survived by her two sons, Steve R. (Pamela) Moore of Naperville, IL and Scott (Julie) Moore of Liberty Twp., OH, also sisters Patty Repper, Lois 'Tootie' Moreland, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Service private.
