Keaton (Dwaine) Closky, age 16, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at his Oxford Township residence. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 26, 1993, the son of Elizabeth Forman and David Closky. Dwaine was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Closky, in February, 2009; and by his beloved dog, Winston. He is survived by his mother and his father who reside in Oxford Township; by his grandmother, Jean Closky, who resides in Twinsburg, Ohio; and by his aunt and uncles. Others who provided loving care to Dwaine include his long-time nurse, Joe Ratclif; his speech pathologist and "buddy," Bruce Bakie; his loyal and fearless guardian Weimaraner family of Abby, Benson, Zoe, Sam and Dexter; and many others who were dedicated to his care and support. Dwaine's special adventure in life evolved from countless hours of viewing Mary Poppins' movies, to his gleeful infatuation with Shania Twain's music videos. He loved traveling with his family to places like Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida, but he also enjoyed a special affinity for that family carved right out of history-the Flintstones of Bedrock. Dwaine always had a "yabba dabba doo time" watching Fred and Family. His physical limitations never got in the way of his exceptional ability to communicate love and affection to those around him. And despite his special challenges, Dwaine was simply a happy little boy who brought joy to those he touched. Friends of Dwaine and his family will be received at the Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road (45040), Mason, on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
