Tom grew up in North College Hill and attended St. Margaret Mary Grade School. He attended Roger Bacon High School and enjoyed much success on the basketball court. That success landed him a basketball scholarship at Xavier University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in History in 1969. Upon graduation, he returned to Roger Bacon as a History teacher and basketball coach until 1978. He then joined the Jake Sweeney Automotive family, where he went on to hold numerous leadership roles for the past 35 years. Most importantly, he brought his gifts of humor, laughter and love to his family and friends.
