Daniel S. Vanover "Big Daddy", 46, beloved husband of Beth (nee Kempster), devoted father of Katie and Ashley Vanover, loving son of Roscoe and Joan Vanover and son-in-law of Jack and Bea Kempster, dear brother of Mark (Cheri) Vanover and Gerry Vanover and brother-in-law of Ted (Gerlinde) Kempster and Ross Kempster, nephew of Jerry Herron, Karen Neuhaus, Nancy (David) Harris, Kitty (Glenn) Allen, Brooks (Susan) Campbell and Tom (Pat) Kempster, uncle of Brett and Samantha Vanover and Grayson, Devin and Genevieve Kempster, cousin of Jimmy Herron and Shawn (Elisa) Neuhaus. Passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2012 from a pulmonary embolism. Dan was graduated from the University of Missouri in 1988 with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He had a successful career in sales over the next 20+ years, most recently with Packaging Systems Design in West Chester, Ohio. Dan was born and raised in Cincinnati but met his wife of 23 years in St. Louis where they were neighbors and attended junior high school together. Dan had a love for baseball and was both a Cincinnati Reds & Boston Red Sox fan. Dan loved to travel with Beth and the girls as well as taking many memorable trips with close friends and his parents. Dan's generosity and his love of family and friends was unmistakable. His sense of humor and larger-than-life personality will be greatly missed. Visitation at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday, July 13 from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:30 PM. Celebration of Life following the service at Diggs Sports Center, 854 Reading Rd, Mason.
