Edward Francis Linesch was welcomed into heaven on March 28th, Holy Thursday. Born May 13, 1928, to Bill and Alice Linesch, Ed was a proud alumnus of Purcell High School, the University of Cincinnati, and General Motors. Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Maxene. He found love again in 2003 when he married Patricia Hart Linesch, the widow of his beloved brother, John. Together they shared ten wonderful years with family and friends as they traveled and played around the world. Ed is survived by his loving wife, his five children with Maxene-Bill, Anne, Mark, David and Beth-and his seven step-children-Leslie, Jaime, John, Marne, John, Jena, Heidi, and Tina-their wives and husbands, 31 grandchildren and a great grandson. He is also survived by his brother, Bob, and sister, Mary Alice (Linesch) Hartke. Ed was well known for his baby blue eyes, his wit and wisdom, and his hospitality, particularly his expertise in mixing a great Manhattan. A man of deep faith, Ed always put his trust in God and his family first. His friends were friends for life. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, April 4th at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5720 Hamilton Mason Road, Liberty Township, OH 45011. The family will receive friends at the Church beginning at 9:45AM. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.
