Theodora D. (Dorothy "Teddy") Kessis , age 81, passed away December 2, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Paul A. Kessis, sons David and Nicholas Kessis, daughter Ginny (Fr. Mark) Emroll, grandchildren Maria and Thea Emroll, sister Cleo (Clayton) Miller, aunt Helen Wellman, sisters-in-law Mina Demakes and Mary (Kurt) Bofinger, and many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and goddaughters. Preceded in death by parents Panageotes and Virginia Demakes and brother Christos Demakes. Dorothy graduated from the University of Cincinnati and taught at Walnut Hills HS, her alma mater, for 30 years. A lifelong member of Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, she volunteered as the Church Organist for 40 years and served as President of the Philoptochos Society and Daughters of Penelope. Visitation at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville RD, Mason, OH 45040 Thursday, Dec. 6, 4-7PM with Trisagion Prayers at 6 PM. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Church, 7000 Winton RD, Cincinnati, OH 45224 Friday at 10 AM. Frs. William Cassis and Mark Emroll officiating. Interment follows at Spring Grove Cemetery.
