Madonna Lee Plotner of Carmel, IN passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2008. Born to Winnie and Gladys (Kratzer) Miller of Converse, IN on July 31, 1926. Madonna attended Marion Business college and was a State Champion softball pitcher. She married Ray Plotner of Amboy, on November 7th 1948. Ray and Madonna owned Plotner's Shoe Tree in Logansport for 50 years. Madonna owned and managed several apartments in Logansport and was a caring landlord. She was co-chairman of the Logansport Performing Arts and was a 60 year member of Psi Iota Psi service sorority. She was the loving and devoted mother of Leesa Ehret (Bill) and the late Troy. She was also a wonderful and very involved grandmother of Adam, Emilee, Troy and Olivia. Madonna was preceded in death by -brothers Loren and Meredith Miller. Surviving brothers are Robert Miller (Mary Ellen) of Converse, IN, Rev. Dr. Clayton Miller of New York City and Donal Ben Miller of Florida, Several nieces and nephews and close cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 3 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 100 86th Street, Indianapolis. Immediate followed by a Celebration of Life service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 4 from 1 until 2:00 PM at Gundrum Funeral Home, 306 16th Street, Logansport with service immediatly following. Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Greentown, following service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 100 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260.www.muellerparker.com
