Linda Tachenko Bain, 52, loving wife of Dr. Michael A. Bain, beloved daughter of Mike and Marvella Tachenko and her late mother, Beth Tachenko, passed away January 31, 2009 from sudden illness. She was the devoted mother of Alexander Tachenko Bain and Ellyn Beth Bain, dear sister of Teresa Appleton, Jeanette Westra, Michael Tachenko and the late Carrie Westerback. Linda was born in Madison, Wisconsin, graduated from Wisconsin Academy and Andrews University in Secretarial Sciences. While working at Kettering Medical Center she met her husband and soul mate and was married in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1983. Living in Loveland and Mason, Ohio she cherished her children and gave selflessly to her friends and extended family. She volunteered at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy regularly, and was fervent in living her Christian faith. She was a lighthouse for everyone whom she touched and shared her passion of creativity, beauty and song. She was every suffering and homeless creature's greatest defender and caretaker, and her home was always filled with many of God's beloved creatures. A celebration of Linda's life will be held Friday, February 6th, 7:00 PM at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 6546 S. Mason-Montgomery Road in Mason, Ohio.
