Clifford J. 'Cliff' Oelker

US NAVY Clifford J. 'Cliff' Oelker, 81, beloved husband of Rita M. (nee Burhoff), devoted father of Mitch (Kris) Oelker, Michele (Alan) Leininger and Maria (David) Hernadi, dear brother of Johanna (late John) Jarvis, Maurice (Elizabeth) and the late Hubert (Marilyn) Oelker, loving grandfather of Ben, Kyle and Karoline Oelker, Laurin, Kristin, Aaron and Joshua Leininger, Jordan and Mica Pugh. Passed away July 25, 2010.

Clifford Oelker was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to parents; Elmer and Mary (nee Armbruster) Oelker both whichhave preceeded Cliff in death.

Cliff attended St. Meinrad Seminary School in St. Meinrad, Indiana where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. After college, he attended School of Theology also at St. Meinrad. He served in the U.S. Navy where he earned a National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal and a Good Conduct Service medal. After 4 years of active duty, 3/20/52 to 3/1/56, he served in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 3/19/60.

He married Rita Mary Burhoff on September 9th, 1961 at St. Leo's Church in Cincinnati, OH.

He was a life long member of Knights of Columbus. He worked at Enerfab as a Production Control Manager, and retired in 1994 after 21 years with Enerfab. He was a member of Saint John Church, West Chester, OH for 37 years.

Visitation at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason on Wednesday, July 28 from 6-8 PM and on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
