Birdie J. Young, beloved wife of the late Harold R. Young and daughter of the late Jack & Amelia Hyden, died Wednesday, November 10th, after a short illness at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Jesse Hyden, Beatrice Howard, Gladys Slusher, Tevis Stokes, and Cordia Warren, as well as 2 brothers, Jack P. Hyden and Charles Hyden. Birdie is survived by one daughter, Leslie Ann (Robert) Corney. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and many other loving family members. Birdie was retired from Elder Beerman after many years of service. She will be fondly remembered for her ever present love and dedication to her family and her easy laughter and quick wit. Her loss leaves an emptiness that can never be filled. Mom, may the Lord Jesus Christ give you comfort in His home and shine His everlasting peace and love upon you. Funeral services will be held at Mueller Parker Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road., Mason, Ohio, 45040 on Wednesday, November 17th @ 2:00 p.m. Family and friends may call from 12:00 until time of the service. Family and friends are invited to join together at West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Road., West Chester, Ohio, 45069 after the interment to celebrate the life of Birdie with a luncheon.
