Juanita Gay Hess (nee Porter), 72, beloved wife of the late Carl Curtis Hess, devoted mother of Michelle (John) Kappa and Mark (Shari) Hess, sister of Virginia Pritchard, Ruby Lynch, Tilitha Tanner and the late Mary Keeney, Guneva Slack, Verneda LaTorre, Inez Noffsinger, June, Richard, Orville and Lee Porter, loving grandmother of Chelsea, Lindsey and Courtney Kappa. Passed away February 20, 2013 with her family at her side. Juanita met her husband Curt in West Virginia and they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in May 2012. Juanita was a member of the VFW Auxillary and was a chaplain for the organization. Juanita and Curt ministered at Glen Meadows Nursing Home for over 11 years. She enjoyed her card ministry and cross stiching. Memorial gathering will be at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Rd (Rt. 747), Liberty Twp., OH 45011 on Monday, February 25 at 5:00 PM until time of Service at 6:30 PM.
