Caruso, 80, beloved husband of Rosemarie Caruso (nee Bentler), devoted father of Thomas (Nancy) Caruso, Diana (Steve) Caruso Gilmore and Patricia (Mike) Caruso Kern, dear brother of Daniel and John 'Jack' Caruso and the late Vincent and Nancy Caruso, loving grandfather of Jon Caruso, Andrew and Alexandra Gilmore and Joey and Kaitlin Harre. Passed away suddenly November 3, 2010. Memorial Mass in the Chapel, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069 on Monday, November 8 at 12 noon. After the war he graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He went to work for Dupont Chemical and became manufacturing supervisior in Circleville, OH and later moved to Europe. He helped start manufacturing plants in Luxemburg and Germany. He also created new manufacturing products throughout Europe. There he was appointed as plant manager for several years. He and his wife moved from Europe to Cincinnati, OH were Joe retired in 1991.
