Louis J. Rekers, 85, loving husband of Jeanne M. (nee Mueller) and the late Virginia (nee Luster) for 50 years, son of the late Cecelia (nee Baehner) and Alfred Rekers, beloved father of Gail (Michal Anne Pepper) Rekers, Sandra (Steve) Egli, Barbara (Jay) Magella, Mark (Jennifer), John (Melanie) and Paul (Sarah) Rekers, Mary (Chuck) Reidmiller and Kathy Rekers, brother of the late Earl and Maurice, devoted grandfather of Michelle, Jennifer, David, Becky, Christine, Danielle, Matthew, Natalie, Anne and Rose and the late John B. Magella and Joel Rekers Reidmiller and great-grandfather of five. Resident of Wyoming passed away December 26, 2008. Visitation at St. James of the Valley, 411 Springfield Pike, 45215 on Wednesday, December 31 from 9:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
