Harry C. Eyre, age 95, beloved husband for 69 years to Margaret Jane, nee ODell, cherished father of Nora Eyre Moushey (Michael), Curtis James Eyre, and Carla Jane Eyre (Peter Gallagher), proud grandfather to Stephen (Kathryn) Eyre, Bryon Eyre, Douglas (Erin) Moushey, Catherine Eyre, and Laura Moushey. At rest October 29th at the Brookwood Retirement Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Winfield, Iowa of the late Walter and Helen Eyre, Harry and Margaret were long time residents of Des Moines, Iowa and Columbus, Ohio. Harry was a Major in the army in World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Harry was an executive with Bankers Life in Des Moines and Nationwide Insurance in Columbus.
