B.K. 'Moe' Turley of Liberty Township, Ohio, former resident of St. Albans, West Virginia, New Martinsville, West Virginia, Wilmington, North Carolina and Roanoke, Virginia. B.K. was the beloved husband of Barbara Jean Turley and made his passage to Glory on April 27, 2008. B.K. was born May 26, 1929, in St. Albans, WV, the son of Hobart and Eva Ball Turley. In addition to his parents, B.K. was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Delmer and Charles, and four brothers: Ray, Hallie, Okey, and C.E. ('Tank'). B.K. leaves behind two sons: Rob Turley of Mason, OH, The Rev. Briane K. Turley of Tulsa, OK, and a daughter Carol Turley of Brighton, MA. B.K. was also deeply loved by two daughters-in-law, Nicki Turley of Mason, OH, and Ann Turley of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Benjamin Turley - Richmond, VA, Zachary Turley - Mason, OH, Meredith Turley - Morgantown, WV, and Christopher Turley - Tulsa, OK. B.K. was one of the first people hired at the Mobay (now Bayer Corporation) chemical plant in New Martinsville, WV, where he completed his career in 1984 as a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler for the plant. He was a long-time member and Past Governor of the Moose Lodge #931 in New Martinsville and a former City Councilman of the town. B.K. was a 32nd degree past member of the Wetzel Masonic Lodge #39 of New Martinsville and a past member of Osiris Shrine, Wheeling, WV. Raised as a Baptist, B.K. was confirmed into the Episcopal Church in 1957, and served multiple leadership roles at St. Anne Episcopal Church in New Martinsville, as well as at St. John Episcopal Church in Wilmington, NC, and St. James Episcopal Church in Roanoke, VA. The family welcomes friends to a visitation at St. Anne Episcopal Church at 6461 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH, on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 6pm, followed by a memorial service at 7pm. Entombment of cremains is scheduled on Friday, May 2, 2008, at St. James Episcopal Church, 4515 Delray St., NW, Roanoke, VA, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, B.K's family welcomes memorial donations to Hospice Care of Middletown OH, at 1131 Manchester Ave., Middletown, OH, 45042.
