Linda M. Hatle Tinti died on August 25, 2013 in Maineville, OH. Born on Feburary 13, 1944 in Denver, CO to Orville and Antoinette Hatle, Linda grew up in Iron Mountain, MI, with her two sisters Jean (Hatle) Sullivan and Ann (Hatle) Moraska. Linda graduated from high school in 1962 and set her sights on going to college at Michigan State University. She majored in social work and fell in love with her husband Michael J. Tinti on the steps of Williams Hall. She graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work and worked for Genesee County CMH Child & Adolescent Services. Mike and Linda married in July of 1966 and spent many years backpacking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. They welcomed their first son Gabriel Hatle Tinti in 1976 and their second son Benjamin Hatle Tinti in 1980. Mike and Linda spent many years in Fenton raising the boys and enjoying their community. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. Linda was a strong, smart individual who loved her family - especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law Jacki (Gabe), her three grandchildren Magnus, Charlotte, and Michaela, her two sisters and brothers-in-law (Patrick Sullivan and Michael Moraska), her sister-in-law Susan Tinti and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place in Iron Mountain, MI, at the Pine Grove Country Club on October 19, 2013 from 11am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org in her honor. We all miss her terribly but she will never be forgotten.
